How It Works
From first conversation to campus-wide deployment.
Whether you're embedding cybersecurity into an existing programme or launching something entirely new, Teras adapts to your institution.
Consultation & Curriculum Design
We start by understanding your institution
Every institution is different. Our team works closely with your faculty to understand your existing programmes, student profiles, and academic goals, then designs a Teras deployment that fits.
Embed into Existing Programmes
Teras integrates seamlessly into your current IT, computing, or engineering curriculum. We map our labs and content to your existing modules so students gain cybersecurity competencies without restructuring your programme.
Launch New Programmes
Starting from scratch? Teras provides the full curriculum backbone, structured learning paths, assessments, and practitioner-grade labs, so your institution can offer cybersecurity training without building content from the ground up.
Choose Your Delivery Model
Synchronous, asynchronous, or both
Teras adapts to how your institution teaches. Whether your lecturers lead live sessions or your students learn independently, the platform supports both, or a blend of the two.
Synchronous
Lecturers deliver content live using Teras as the teaching backbone. Labs, exercises, and assessments are guided in real-time, ideal for structured classroom environments where instructors walk students through concepts and hands-on practice together.
Asynchronous
Students learn on Teras at their own pace, on their own time. The platform's adaptive engine, the built-in Teras AI Tutor, and structured learning paths guide each student through the material independently, perfect for flexible schedules or supplementary learning.
Most institutions use a blend. Lecturers lead core theory and guided labs synchronously, while students reinforce skills and complete practice exercises asynchronously between sessions.
Train the Trainer
Empowering your lecturers to deliver with confidence
Faculty don't need cyber expertise to deliver the programme , all content, labs, and assessments are fully pre-built. When your team wants dedicated upskilling, Train-the-Trainer is available as a paid add-on service (not included in the platform licence) covering the knowledge and pedagogical techniques to teach cybersecurity content with confidence.
Cybersecurity Foundations
We bring your lecturers up to speed on core cyber concepts, threat landscapes, and the practical skills they'll be teaching.
Platform Mastery
Hands-on training with every feature of Teras, from launching labs to interpreting student analytics and adaptive learning paths.
Pedagogical Delivery
Techniques for teaching cybersecurity effectively, guiding lab sessions, facilitating discussions, and keeping students engaged with hands-on material.
Deployment & Licensing
Go live with your students
Once your curriculum is mapped and your lecturers are ready, we onboard your institution and get Teras into the hands of your students.
Onboarding
We handle the technical setup, student account provisioning, and integration with your institution's systems. Your team receives a dedicated onboarding manager who ensures a smooth launch.
Pathway Commitment
Your institution commits to a Pathway — Foundation (3 modules), Electives (5 modules), Institution (all 7 modules), or Institution+. You pay per module-semester per student, at a unit rate that drops as the Pathway widens.
What shapes your investment
Transparent on the model. Custom on the quote.
Every institution sizes Teras differently, so we build a quote around your cohort, modules, and term. Here's exactly what's in the licence, what's an add-on, and the inputs that shape your number.
Included with every module deployment
- Live cyber range access
- Teras AI Tutor in every lesson
- Admin dashboard with included faculty seat
- All 6 UI languages
- Cohort onboarding session per term
- Standard email support
Optional paid add-ons
- Train-the-Trainer
- Faculty Seat Pro (extra seats)
- Institution Admin Console (cross-cohort analytics)
- Lab Hour & AI Credit packs (overage)
- Custom lab build
- White-label / co-brand uplift
What shapes your quote
- Pathway tier (Pilot · Foundation · Electives · Institution · Institution+)
- Cohort size and number of cohorts
- Modules deployed per term × terms
- Multi-year & multi-cohort commitments
- Per-cohort activation fee
Pathways match how long the cohort takes to graduate — typically 1.5 to 3.5 years. Multi-year and multi-cohort commitments unlock additional discount. We share full numbers in your custom proposal.
