Within Your Institution:If you are a student or faculty member, your progress data, assessments, and learning analytics are shared with your institution's administrators and faculty to enable course management and academic support.
Service Providers: We work with trusted vendors who help us deliver the Services,cloud hosting providers, learning analytics platforms, payment processors, email services, and analytics providers. These vendors are contractually obligated to use your data only for the services they provide.
Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required by law (subpoena, court order, regulatory request) or to protect the safety, rights, and property of Teras, our users, or the public.
Business Transfers: If Teras is acquired, merged, or restructured, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.
No Sale: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Students' learning records are typically retained for seven years post-graduation to support credential verification. You can request deletion of your data at any time, subject to legal and contractual retention requirements.

Teras is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will promptly delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our website and updating the “last updated” date. Your continued use of Teras constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
